March/April Science Unit: Solid, Liquid and Gas
Children identify the different materials that make up familiar objects. They discuss the properties of different materials, and think about why people choose different materials to make things. They learn to identify items around them as solids, liquids, gases or mixtures. They compare and contrast different liquids and different solids. And they use various materials to build their own new object.

- Choose an object at home and identify the materials in the object and the properties of those materials.
